Unoccupied Condo in Tarpon Springs Sustains Heavy Water Damage

Often, when winter homes in Tarpon Springs are not inspected on a weekly schedule, mishaps are amplified in the damages they cause. Standing water on this engineered wood flooring, if removed immediately, could have salvaged the wetted surface. The After Photo shows the demolition needed for water damage restoration. SERVPRO of Tarpon technicians discarded the damaged building materials and then dried out the concrete pad and wall cavity. The insurance company did not agree to cover this damage since it went unnoticed for weeks and increased the cleanup and replacement costs. We worked with our customer to keep charges down and restore the condo to a condition "Like it never even happened."
